Our History

A vision born from memory, faith and responsibility.

In 2006, while a student at Niagara University, Dr. Deng Diing watched a television program about children and families suffering in Africa.

The experience reminded him of people he had lost during his own childhood journey and inspired a question that became the beginning of Aid and Care: how could he help his homeland?

Give Love & Care to Our Elders

Mwagai, 78, pushes stones for a living Needs Your Support.

During my exercise walk up the local hill, I was surprised to see Mr. Mwagai pushing a wheelbarrow from the bottom to the top. It was impressive to see someone working so hard to hung sacks of stones up such a steep incline.

As I rushed over to see what he was pushing, I noticed that he was moving sacks of stones in a wheelbarrow. Curious, I asked him why he was doing it. He replied that it was his livelihood.

Mr. Mwai is truly an! Despite his age and health challenges, he works tirelessly every day from morning to sunset to make a living by selling sacks. He sells one sack for 500 Kenya shillings which is less than 3 US dollars.

Show your love and care for Mr. Mwagai by making a donation today. Your contribution can make a significant difference in his life. Join us in supporting this worthy cause
